This policy explains what information Cold Front (“we”, “us”) collects through coldfronttechnology.com and its AI Agent Portal, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to coldfronttechnology@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account requests and accounts. To request portal access you provide your name, email address, and company. If your request is approved we create an account with that information. Denied requests are deleted.
- Portal activity. When you use the portal we record the actions you take that run an AI workflow, including the time, the model used, and its cost.
- Newsletter recipients. Email addresses added to a newsletter’s recipient list are stored so the newsletter can be sent to them.
Newsletter source email
The Newsletter Agent reads a dedicated email inbox that Cold Front controls and that exists only to receive industry newsletters. It does not access the email accounts of portal users or anyone else.
- What is accessed: the content of industry newsletter and news emails received in that inbox during a selected week, and the public web pages they link to.
- How it is used: solely to compile and generate Cold Front’s weekly newsletter. The email content is stored in our database and sent to our AI model providers to produce the newsletter draft.
- What we never do: we do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and no person reads it except to operate and troubleshoot the newsletter.
How we use information
- To respond to messages and review account requests.
- To provide the portal and its AI agents, and to control who can use them.
- To send account emails (such as password links) and the newsletters you choose to send.
- To track the cost of running AI workflows.
We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use these providers to run the site, and share information with them only as needed for that purpose:
- Supabase: database, sign-in, and account storage.
- Render: website and application hosting.
- Resend: delivery of account emails and newsletters.
- Anthropic and OpenAI: AI models that generate newsletter content.
- Google: hosts the newsletter source inbox described above.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you sign in to the portal, your browser stores a session so you stay signed in until you sign out.
Retention and deletion
We keep account information for as long as your account exists. An administrator can delete an account at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account or any information about you by emailing coldfronttechnology@gmail.com. Newsletter source material is kept so past newsletters can be referenced, and is deleted on request.
Security
Access to the portal requires an approved account, data is transmitted over HTTPS, and access to stored data is restricted by role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we hold.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
